In the first match, Persatuan Tenis Bumiputra sarawak (PTBS) B booked their last four ticket to semi final after Jeremy John Anjee beat Joseph 6-0, 6-0 in the first singles and Amin Tamel-Zainoren Alek beat Patrick-Sng Chee Hun 6-4, 6-2 in the first doubles while Muhammad Zaki Pauzi beat Mohd Al-Fitri 6-0, 6-2 in the second singles and Wahi Sahmad-Hamdan Mos saw off Ahmad Adham-Leo 6-3, 6-3 in the second doubles. Kapit collected their consolation point after Khaidir Nor gave Glen Chengai a walkover and Kapit moved to loser's pool game.
Kapit claimed the loser’s pool title after beating Samarahan 4-1 in the final. They overcame Miri 4-1 in the semi-final while Samarahan edged Sarikei 3-2 in the other semi-final.
Kapit was represented by Patrick Alexius Uda, Joseph Arthur, Leo Johnical, Mohd Al-Fitri, captain Sng Chee Hun, Glyn Chengai, Max Wong and Ahmad Adham.
SLTA president Dato Patrick Liew gave away the prizes. Actually the shortage of tennis courts is the biggest stumbling block to the development of the sport in Kapit. However, without tennis facilities, Kapit proved that they still can be champion in Sarawak Inter-Division Championship.
